The DPF on my Fiat Croma 1.9 16v diesel was 81% clogged after a leaking exhaust flexi had prevented normal regeneration for an extended period. I decided to try this in an effort to avoid more drastic measures and expensive bills. Having added it to a full tank of fuel I took it for a decent dual carriageway run and a couple of days later after 1/4 of a tank my DPF clogging is down to 16% and power and fuel consumption are fully restored. This certainly worked for me. |

On 7 July 2012 My 2006 ford focus engine light came on and the car went into limp mode. I took the car to the Ford Dealership who said the DPF was blocked and I needed a new DPF at a cost of £1632!!!! I bought the car home without fixing it. After a week going through all my options. I thought I should at least try this solution for less £15 before i fork out my years savings on repair. I got my local garage to switch off the engine light and ran the car in 4th gear at 70mph for about 50miles with a full tank of diesel. It has been 700 miles since I used this solution and the engine light has not come back. Amazing! |
